When capturing your existing floor plan, some errors may appear on the plan. Most of the time, these are caused by walls not being properly connected, preventing the tool from detecting certain rooms.
First, make sure to perform your capture carefully to minimize errors and omissions on the plan.
If you notice that certain rooms are not selectable and the room background is not white but grid-patterned, it meansthat the room was not properly created. In this case, you likely need to reconnect the walls correctly.
Other types of errors may appear, such as certain elements displayed in red. This is usually because they are colliding with other elements or walls, as seen here, for example:
Simply click on the element and reposition it correctly on the plan for the error to disappear.
Also, remember to rename your rooms with the correct room type. During the capture process, all rooms are named "Bedroom" by default. To rename a room, click on it and select the desired name from the drop-down menu that appears on the left side of your screen.
Once you have corrected the basics of your capture, feel free to refine it by adding any relevant elements (water inlets, electrical outlets, etc.) before moving on to the "Renovated Plan" tab to carry out your renovations.
