Scan → Existing floor plan → Renovation floor plan → Sharing

Scan LiDAR scan automatically generates the Existing floor plan on site. A 3D view of the scan remains available to visualize the individual wall surfaces.

Existing floor plan It reflects the existing state, the site survey: basis for the Quantity takeoff before works and field data.

Renovation floor plan Model your renovation proposal (changes, finishes, fixtures). Retrieve the proposal Quantity takeoff and generate a Cost estimate based on the differences with the Existing floor plan. Visualize and compare both plans with the Before/after view, create a Reference plan, etc.

Sharing Send an interactive link, an annotated Reference plan or a PDF report to your client, colleagues or contractors in two clicks.

The scan view

The 3D view of the scan is the first step: a 3D view to retrieve the individual wall and opening surfaces and dimensions.

To see the wall areas and dimensions in the Scan:

1. Click on the dot in the center of the walls whose area you want to know (you can select the interior or exterior façades).

2. The wall dimensions appear directly on the walls

3. The total area calculation is visible in "Selected area" and each selected wall is added to it

4. To exclude openings from the area calculation, uncheck "Count openings"

5. To include your sloped ceilings, check "Enable sloped-ceiling import" and "Re-import" (if you have already imported your plan)

The existing floor plan

The existing floor plan represents the current state, generated automatically after the scan. It shows the walls, openings, rooms and fixtures in place.

You retrieve your site survey Quantity takeoff from the existing floor plan.

If you are starting from a scan:

• Rename your project and enter the client information and download the images taken during the scan if needed

• Add photos and comments directly on the existing floor plan or view those taken during the scan

• Enter the wall type — needed for theExport of heat-loss surfaces and to accurately reflect the existing state.

• Rename your rooms from the plan — for clear labels in the Quantity takeoff, the Cost estimate, the PDF report and the exports

• Add or modify the existing fixtures — some are not detected automatically during the scan, and their presence on the Existing floor plan allows the Cost estimate to calculate the removal / demolition or modifications of the elements by comparing it with the Renovation floor plan

• Annotate constraints and points to watch — so nothing is forgotten between the site visit and the office

• Finishes are applied by default; you can change them if you want

If you draw your plan from scratch

Draw a plan from scratch or using a Reference plan

Always complete the Existing floor plan before starting the Renovation floor plan.

Diagnostics and audits: Survey / Measurement, Quantity takeoff and heat-loss surfaces

Parquet: Survey / Measurement, Quantity takeoff and installation plan

Tile: Survey / Measurement, Quantity takeoff and installation plan

Painting: Survey / Measurement, Quantity takeoff and installation plan

The Renovation floor plan

Go to the Renovation floor plan tab. All your changes here do not affect the Existing floor plan — you can compare the two at any time by turning on the Before/after view.

It is from the Renovation floor plan that you retrieve your Quantity takeoff and Cost estimate for renovation proposals.

Modify the walls

• Add, move or remove partitions

• Change the type or thickness of existing walls

• Add Insulation layer

Place the fixtures

• Add the new fixtures from the Objects button

• Personalize the new fixtures (showers, screen, Plumbing fixtures / Taps, etc)

Apply the finishes

• Switch to 3D view and apply floors, walls and ceilings

Annotate the proposal

• Annotate material choices, installation instructions or points to watch directly on the plan

• Add visible dimensions in key areas
