Create an electrical plan on Visuary
{% endembed %}

Create a complete electrical plan to get a **first overview of network routing and equipment locations** in the Dwelling / Housing unit, while making coordination with your colleagues easier.

Many electrical elements are available from the button **Objects** ; you will find **outlets**, **switches**, **light fixtures**, as well as **home automation** and **technical systems**.

{% hint style="success" icon="lightbulb" %}
For an electrical compliance upgrade in a Dwelling / Housing unit, installations must comply with standard NF C 15-100.\
To create compliant electrical plans, you can use our **design assistant** available with the **Intégral** or **Enterprise**, click [**here**](/guide-visuary-en/the-plan/error-detector.md) to learn more.
{% endhint %}

Create electrical connections:&#x20;

1. Place your electrical elements on the plan
2. **Select one of them** to display the left selection menu
3. In the "**Electrical connections**", click "**Add a circuit**"
4. Click an electrical element to create the connection with the first selected element
5. Click on "**Finish**"

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note: it is not possible to connect more than 2 light fixtures to a switch on the plan.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Some fixtures** (kitchen, bathroom, radiators) **come automatically with electrical elements** when you place them on the plan, but you can remove them.
{% endhint %}

<h3 align="center">Electrical element legend</h3>

To make the plan easier to read and understand, you will find below a complete legend detailing all the symbols and electrical elements present.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.visuary.com/guide-visuary-en/according-to-your-trade/electricity.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
